When it comes to restoring the 4 Crowns around the top of the K6 Kiosk, this is the technique I used. All credit is due to Tony Inglis from Unicorn Restorations who helped me enormously with this process.
1) Mix 60% fast dry Gold size to 40% imitation gold enamel. It doesn't need much, maybe 20ml
2) Paint in with a fine point sable brush. Brush out so there is an even coat with no pooling.
3) Leave until the size is touch dry to the back of the finger then gild with Gold Leaf transfer. Work in with a tooth brush through the paper backing.
4) Leave for 2 to 3 hours then brush off excess with a clean soft blusher brush.
